╔» • You Are Pretty Pathetic • Episode 01 «╗

Greetings Minions of Internet Land!
Robust Enigma here, and today I wanted to take you on a bit of a background for this new series.

Today is the first episode of You Are Pretty Pathetic, or YAPP for short, and my goal here is to explore the nature of humans through social media, and expose their ignorance through social commentary.

So far, I was a bit limited on submissions, and I still don't feel like I found that perfect "voice" yet, however, the serious tone does work well in a way that I'm not quite sure how to quantify. In all reality, I imagined this show being a little more playful, though due to my inability to keep up a steady editing schedule, and various other things, I decided that enough was enough, and there was no better time than now to share this project with the world.

Currently, I am still working on another series, as well as hopefully, keeping this series going thanks to submissions from awesome Minions like yourself. So, if you see something, say something!

Anyways, enjoy your day, and let me know what you think. :D

Breaking Through: Priest - The Cross (Official Video)

Greetings Minions of Internet Land!

Robust Enigma here with another new series, "Breaking Through."

In this series, I bring you some of my favorite new music from artists that you may have missed otherwise.

Today's featured song is from Priest, an electronic synthpop group from Stockholm Sweden, signed with Lövely Records. Priest is rumored to share members with the original lineup of Ghost, as a sort of personal project.

The Cross is yet another sinfully dark synthpop/electronic single heavily marked with their uniquely haunting vocals. In the official video, we get a front row seat as a man is seemingly tormented through his dreams, as he struggles to confront his future, based on his past decisions. The lyrics play heavily into this concept as we hear lines such as "Count the wasted years like burnt out cigarettes."

These stylised videos are typical of Priest's unique nature to mix symbolism through anonymity, in a way that breeds chilling mystery.

If you are interested in finding out more about Priest, you can hit up their official fanpage at Facebook.com/PriestOfficial.

Enjoy. >:)

I'll see you all on the other side... --RE

The Best Explanations: Jörg Sprave of The Slingshot Channel - On Viral Videos

Greetings Minions of Internet Land!

Robust Enigma here, bringing you the start of a possible series of articles I would like to title "The Best Explanations." In this series, I present you with my favorite informative videos from around the net.

For this first entry, I bring you a video from one of my Tuber Idols, Jörg Sprave.

Jörg Sprave from The Slingshot Channel is one of the heros that Internet Land needs to cherish. He has produced hundreds of hours worth of content on self defense, weaponizing everyday objects, and copious amounts of slingshots!

Today, I stumbled across him, giving back to the YouTube community again, as he frequently does, by dropping a knowledge bomb on us, built from personal experience.

It is a wonderful journey to listen to him speak about his personal experiences with Viral Videos, and how he has continuously slam dunked his way to success, following his passions to fruition.

If you don't quite have the time to enjoy the whole video, he has a PDF copy of his essay titled: "On Viral Videos"

With that, thank you all for checking in, and I will see you all on the other side.
